Chapter Seventeen
I chose then to turn around and face him but I did not look him in his eye as I taunted "Which human boy are you referring to?"
The touch of his cold hand on my neck sent shivers down my spine as he reached out for me.
I could feel the weight of his gaze on body, his red eyes seeming to pierce through my very soul.
His long, pale finger went under my chin, forcing me to look up at him. His white hair fell across his face, swaying gently with the movement of his head.
Despite the softness of his touch, I could sense the strength in his grip, as if he could easily crush my neck if he so desired. His eyes never left mine, and I felt as if he could see right through me, to the very core of my being. It was as if he knew every secret I had ever kept, every fear I had ever harboured.
I felt exposed, vulnerable, and utterly powerless in his presence. His touch was both intimate menacing, a paradox that left me feeling both drawn to and repelled by him.
His malevolent bloodthirsty fury slowly dissipated, and he seemed to regain control of his senses. As he peered down at me, I could see a flicker of recognition in his eyes, as if he had just realized the gravity of his actions.
He slowly withdrew his hand from my chin.
The grin on his otherworldly face widened, and his eyes seemed to sparkle with amusement. It was as if he knew how his touch affected me, and he was enjoying the fear he had instilled in me.
I tried to move away, but his grip on my arm tightened, and I realized I was at his mercy. Despite his apparent change of heart, I knew that his intentions were far from benevolent, and I braced myself for whatever was to come next.
Circling his arm around my waist, he tugged me forward, his fingers pressing into my skin as he pulled me closer. My heart pounded in my chest as I felt his lips dangerously close to my skin.
I tried to pull away, but his grip only tightened, and I found myself unable to resist his advances.
As he drew me in, my hips collided with his, and I gasped at the sudden contact. The heat between us was palpable, and I could feel my body responding to his touch. It was as if a switch had been flipped inside me, and I was powerless to resist his seductive pull.
His eyes bored into mine, and I knew that he was in control, that he had me right where he wanted me. I was his to command, his to use as he pleased.
And as his hand slid down my back, pulling me even closer, I knew that I had no choice but to remain trapped to him.
He might have been a death entity but he was all man.
As I looked into his eyes, I could sense a deep hunger that seemed to consume him.
